Frontier research, pragmatic engineering, governance built in. We are researchers and engineers from the University of Edinburgh, the University of Bath, and UPC Barcelona — with operating experience from Google, Amazon, Intel, Samsung, and EY — building what current foundation models cannot.
What unites us: the conviction that the next breakthrough in AI will not come from piling more parameters on a transformer. It will come from rebuilding the foundation.

Principal scientist across leading AI startups in the United Kingdom and United States, and former researcher and teacher at the University of Edinburgh, specialising in large language models, multimodal learning, and self-supervised methods.

Former Chief AI Officer and former Amazon engineer. AI leader with deep expertise in agent-based systems, retrieval-augmented generation, large language models, and on-device AI, recognised for combining strong technical depth with strategic business vision.

Governance & Safety Advisor
PhD in AI Governance from the University of Bath. Associate Professor at Bath, Umeå, and UPC. Expert in AI governance, safety, and ethics with experience implementing frameworks across Europe, leading governance audits and compliance programmes.

PhD in AI from the University of Edinburgh. Research engineer advancing evolution-inspired AI and open-ended learning, exploring the next frontier of AI systems.
